Tank and I were sooo excited when Dad got home from work today! We waited until he came down the driveway then started going bonkers. We ran back and forth from the door to the look-out-the-window couch.

Tank wasn't watching where he was going when we got back on the couch and knocked me over. My back legs fell over the top of the couch and I was hanging on for dear life with my front legs. Luckily Mom saw what happened and rescued me before I hit the floor! I was so scared!!! Even when Mom picked me up I was still trying to hang on as tight as I could.

Tonight Mom let Zeus and I outside to do our business and we were gone for a really long time. Mom called and called for us and we didn't hear her. (Honest, we didn't!) And then, Mom put on her shoes and jacket and walked around in the dark looking for us. (That is not a good sign.) Finally, we heard her and came running... from way far in a field south of the house.

Mom was pretty upset. When she finally calmed down and we came out of our crates, she noticed my face was really dirty and my paws were really dirty and Zeus was really dirty. Mom and Dad figured out we had been in the field "investigating" a dead deer that two eagles had been feeding on all week. That really upset Mom!! Dad had to give us both a bath.

And to make matters worse, Mom said we can't go outside all by ourselves anymore... at least for the next few anyways.
